Matthew Thimsen

Rosary for Matthew Donald Thimsen, 18, of 2421 W. Jefferson St., who died Sunday in an automobile accident at Lucky Peak Dam, will be recited at 7 p.m., today at Alden-Waggoner Chapel.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church by the Rev. Angelito Peries. Interment will be in Morris Hill Cemetery.

He was born January 5, 1960, at Buffalo, New York, and lived in Oregon, California and Utah.  He was educated in Boise at St. Mary's, Madison Elementary School, North Junior High and graduated from Boise High School in 1978.  He was employed as a truck driver for Simco Associates of Boise.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas (Barbara) Thimsen, two sisters, Martha and Maureen Thimsen, and two brothers, Stephen and David, all of Boise; paternal grandmother, Libbie C. Thimsen of Gladstone, Oregon; maternal grandparents Adam and Clare Heim of Portland; and numerous aunts and uncles. 

Friends may sign the register at the funeral chapel after 11 a.m. today.  Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.  Pallbearers will be Stephen Thimsen, Dave DeChambeau, Mike Rummell, David Lappin, Brian Snyders, and Bob Kaylor.
