Sheri Irene Nelson

Sheri was born July 26, 1960 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho. She passed away very suddenly of natural causes on November 21, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday November 27, 2009 at Summers Funeral Chapel 1205 West Bannock Street Boise. Burial will be at Morris Hill Cemetery Boise. Sheri attended Garfield school, Boise High, University of Colorado for one year and several years at BSU. She was an honor student at all of these schools and her name was listed in the Who's Who of American Colleges. At Boise High she excelled in her education and was active in the choir, cheerleading, and in the drama club. She had roles in (Bye Bye Birdie) and (No No Nanette). During her productive years she was employed by Idaho First National Bank, secretary for a basketball coach at BSU, and also worked in the registration office. Survivors include her parents, Ken and Della Nelson, brother Michael, sister Suzanne, nephews Adam and Kevin, cousins Kathy, Gary, Pam, and Chris, and many aunts and uncles. Our sincere thanks to all who took care of her in this crisis. Especially Donna Graves, the staff at St. Lukes Hospital, and to Nan at St. Lukes. Rest in peace Sheri, you are our shining star.
