Renee Louise Parsels

Renee Louise Parsels passed from this earthly life on December 3, 2019.  She had suffered ill health for several years and her family finds peace knowing that her struggles are over.

She was born in California in 1960, to David and Louise Parsels and in 1962 the family moved to Idaho.  She was a compassionate soul who will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor and the laughter she brought to those she knew.

Renee’s pride and joy were her daughter Reanna and her three beautiful grandchildren: Bentley, Ryder and Maliya who will miss their Nana very much.

Renee married Ron Haustveit in 1994 and gave birth to Reanna the following year.  Although Ron and Renee later divorced, their love for their daughter was the shining light that kept them connected.  Sadly, Ron also passed away this year.

Renee found her true calling in life after the death of her father in 1987.  David died from lung cancer and from this experience, Renee was inspired to become a Respiratory Therapist.  Renee’s compassion was an asset to her life’s mission as she served in ICU in hospitals in Tucson, Arizona and Boise, Idaho.

Renee is survived by her daughter, Reanna (Zach) and their 3 children; her mother, Louise Thurman; her brother, David Parsels, of Virginia Beach; her sisters, Nancy Vinsonhaler, Janet Hinkle, Louise DeGrange and Diane Parsels, all of Boise, Idaho and Yvonne Parsels, of Henderson, Nevada.  Renee is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Renee may the angels guide you safely home where you find the peace that surpasses all understanding.

A celebration of Renee’s life will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Idaho Outdoor Association, 3401 Brazil St. in Boise.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
