Tammy Gail Kennedy Zehner, 32, of Boise, died Friday, September 11, 1992, at home.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel.  Pastor Bill Day will officiate.  Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery.

Tammy was born January 6, 1960, at Moscow, Idaho, a daughter of Fred and Patty Kennedy.  She spent her infant years with her parents in Washington, DC, and later moved with them to Mountain Home, Idaho in 1963 where she attended grade school for four years.  Tammy’s family moved to Boise in 1971 where she was raised and educated, graduating from Boise High School in 1978.  Tammy worked for Albertson’s for several years after finishing high school.  She married Michael Zehner on March 6, 1982.  Tammy and Mike had two lovely children, Bobby (9) and Lindsey (7).

Tammy and her children were members of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boise.  During the last several years Tammy spend her time at home raising her children.  She and the kids loved to spend time in the mountains at the family cabin in Featherville.  Tammy always enjoyed giving rather than receiving, to her friends, her family and others in need.  Her greatest love was her two children.  She will be sorely missed by them, her family and her many friends.

Survivors include her two beautiful children, Bobby and Lindsey, and their father Mike Zehner; her parents, Fred and Patty Kennedy of Boise; a sister, Terry Stout and her husband, Tim of Genesee, Idaho; a brother John Kennedy of Yuma, Arizona; two aunts, Jo Black and her husband Frank of Mountain Home, and Julie Garcia and her husband, Ben of Boise; an uncle, Terry Scofield of Boise; two nieces; a nephew; eight cousins; and numerous great-aunts and great uncles including Phil and Pat Gridley, Gib and Vida Gridley, Glenna Hoagland and Mary Alice Glasby, all of Mountain Home.
