Joan Hartz

Joan Kathryn Hartz of Boise, Idaho passed away October 28, 2019, she was 59 years old.

A Celebration of Life will be held November 16, 2019 from Noon to 3:00 pm at the Stonehouse - 709 E. Park Blvd., Boise, ID 83712.

Joan was born August 12th, 1960, as the second of five children to Sam and Leona Hartz. She grew up in Boise, attended St. Mary’s elementary school and graduated from Boise High.  Joan was very witty with a big heart and always put others first. Joan touched many lives and lived life to the fullest.  The love of her life was her husband Randy.  They enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren, also, camping, fishing and watching sports.

Joan is survived by her husband Randy Williams, step son Brandon Hayes (Lindsey), step daughter Stephanie Williams, (boyfriend Joel), and grandchildren Maryssa, Kaylee, Adreonna, Autumn, Ford, and Rivir).  Her brother Tony (Laura), sisters Roberta “Bert” and Tammy Hartz, and  numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her best friend Angie Johnson. 

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, brother Sam, and father and mother in law.  She fought a long battle with Diabetes since the age of 16.
