Richard J. Campos
Rosary for Richard Joseph Campos, 20, of 700 Sawtooth St., who died Saturday,
June 21, 1980, as a result of a one-car accident on Maple Grove Road near
Interstate 84, will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Alden-Waggoner Chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mark’s Catholic Church
by the Rev. John J. Quinn.
Interment will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 25, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas.
He was reared and educated in Boise; Clint, Texas; Augusta, Georgia;
Stuttgart, Germany; and El Paso, Texas and graduated from Boise High School in
1978. He had been a pre-med student
at the University of Idaho for the past two years.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, a member of the ROTC in
Austin, Texas, Boise and at the University of Idaho, and was on the ROTC Varsity
Rifle Team at the U of I.
Surviving are his parents, Salvador and Arcadie Campos, and two sisters, Mrs.
Ray (Evelinda) Esslinger and Vanessa Campos, all of Boise; a brother, Armando of
Germany; parental grandparents, Refugio and Magdalena Campos of Clint; a nephew;
and several aunts and uncles.
